Christian Taucher is a highly accomplished Stand Up Paddle (SUP) athlete from Graz, Austria. As a former professional handball player, Christian transitioned into SUP in 2016, bringing his competitive spirit and passion for sport to the water. Since then, he has earned over 20 national titles and currently serves as the President of the Austrian SUP Federation.
Christian is also a dedicated coach, training athletes through his own SUP training company and at the SUP Sportclub Graz. His athletes have embraced SUNOVA boards, praising their versatility and performance. Christian will be competing on three different SUNOVA FAAST models this season, carefully selecting each board based on race conditions to maximize speed and stability.
With a strong focus on both his personal performance and the development of his team, Christian is excited to represent SUNOVA in various national and international competitions this year, including the Alps Trophy and ICF World Championships.
