WAVE CATCHING ABILITY: Quite good.

WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU DESIGNED IT?:

I wanted to design a board that could get kids out and excited to go paddling. Something to help them get into the sport at a young age and build the next generation of paddling fanatics.

WHAT IT POSSIBLY COMPROMISES ON THEN?:

No compromises, it just a little small for bigger people.

SHAPE DETAILS | DESIGN INFO

OUTLINE:

Narrower nose and wide tail for surfing and kick turning. The outline is similar to the Allround Faast Pro.

RAILS:

Softer upfront with a harder bottom edge through the middle right out the tail.

ROCKER:

Medium rocker. The rocker on this board is very similar to the Allround Faast Pro but with a little less nose rocker.

BOTTOM:

Flat rolled. For great speed to keep the kids keeping up.

DECK:

Flat deck. Nothing fancy, just great ease of use.

FINS:

Single. Good directional control.

FINAL STATEMENT:

The perfect board for kids. This board will cover most conditions you’ll be out in. It definitely covers the most disciplines possible.

About The Technology

Meet The Allround Faast Kids Designer

Marcus Tardrew

Marcus has a long history with the ocean. He basically grew up in it and hasn't been out much ever since. Sailing, Windsurfing, Surfing, Foiling and Downwinding. He was the first Australian to complete the Molokai to Oahu race on a foil in 2019.

Marcus has been a lead designer at SUNOVA since 2016, initially starting out on Race SUP’s before moving on to Surf SUP’s and then Foil Boards. Across these disciplines there have been multiple world champions crowned on his designs.

Apart from being an amazing designer, Marcus also competes in all these disciplines at an elite level. He’s worked tirelessly over the past years, with input from riders all around the world, along with his own revelations, to design the best boards possible.
