A race board designed for any possible conditions to give you an edge when it's all happening. Ocean, Downwind, Flatwater, Races, Training, Fun, anything you can think of. 

This board has more of a flat deck design with only a subtle recess. This helps with stability and ease of use in any conditions. With a rough water focus in design the board works well upwind and crosswind also.

ABOUT THE BOARD

GENERAL GOAL | THEME OF THE BOARD:

This board is designed for races with a lot of buoy turns such as bop-course style, races for the flat deck lovers. The board has been designed to have good glide in the flat, yet has a good ocean style nose to be forgiving when moving upwind or downwind. Flatter deck and tail pad for surfability. 

CONDITIONS IT'S WORKING BEST:

Any conditions you want to head out in. 

SKILL LEVEL IT'S BEST FOR:

Novice to Pro. Just choose width accordingly.

PADDLE POWER:

SPEED: Above average.

DIRECTIONAL CONTROL: The parallel outline makes it great. 

OVER WHITE WATER: Excellent, the best board in the race range. 

WAVE CATCHING ABILITY: Quite good. 

WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU DESIGNED IT?:

As mentioned above the board was designed to be fast in all conditions. Basically the same thought process behind the Allwater but in a flat deck that is easier to kick turn and use in bop-course races. 

WHAT IT POSSIBLY COMPROMISES ON THEN?:

Not as fast in the flat water as the Flatwater Faast Pro but covers more conditions than any board.

SHAPE DETAILS | DESIGN INFO

OUTLINE:

Piercing nose and wide tail for surfing and kick turning. The outline is similar to the Allwater Faast Pro but with a wider tail. 

RAILS:

Softer upfront with a hard bottom edge through the middle right out the tail. 

ROCER:

Medium rocker. The rocker on this board is very similar to the Allwater Faast Pro but with a little less nose rocker.

BOTTOM:

Deep single concave. This improves stability and enables you to ride a narrower board versus a flat bottom. 

DECK:

Flat deck with slightly sunken standing area. High volume nose to improve versatility. It features 3 grab handle positions along the side for starts and beach drags and also suicide handles at the back of the board, for survival conditions in the surf.

FINS:

Single. Good directional control.

FINAL STATEMENT:

The perfect board for racing in the ocean, flatwater or a surf course race. This board will cover most conditions you’ll be able to get it. It definitely covers the most disciplines in the Pro race range.

Meet The Allround Faast Pro Designer

Marcus Tardrew

Marcus has a long history with the ocean. He basically grew up in it and hasn't been out much ever since. Sailing, Windsurfing, Surfing, Foiling and Downwinding. He was the first Australian to complete the Molokai to Oahu race on a foil in 2019.

Marcus has been a lead designer at SUNOVA since 2016, initially starting out on Race SUP’s before moving on to Surf SUP’s and then Foil Boards. Across these disciplines there have been multiple world champions crowned on his designs.

Apart from being an amazing designer, Marcus also competes in all these disciplines at an elite level. He’s worked tirelessly over the past years, with input from riders all around the world, along with his own revelations, to design the best boards possible.
